The Asset Information Modelling Framework (AIMF) is introduced to bring about a change in the way of working. The goal is that the industry should share one and the same model of an asset with a rich, multidimensional structure.  The AIMF makes it possible to proceed incrementally, modelling fragments of information step by step, with focus on where the largest gain is, and such that each step gives value without the need for a huge upfront investment.
